The fabric graphic is printed using dye-sublimation on 310gsm Backlit Polyester for exceptional vibrancy when illuminated, finished with silicone edging and tensioned into an aluminium extrusion frame. Available in Standard and Premium models in three sizes, with Premium custom sizes available on request. Printed in Brighton & Hove with UK-wide delivery available.

Standard vs Premium

• Standard — 75mm thick aluminium frame. LEDs located around the inside edge of the frame. Available in three off-the-shelf sizes: 1m×2m, 2m×2m and 3m×2m.
• Premium — 60mm thick aluminium frame with a higher quality, greater number of LEDs. Lights run along the long edges for improved light distribution and quality. Available in standard and bespoke custom sizes — contact us for a quotation on non-standard dimensions.

Installation Notes

• The aluminium frame must be fitted to a solid wall
• The frame requires drilling to create your own fixing points — this allows maximum flexibility for various wall surfaces
• No standard fixing points are provided and a wall-mounting kit is not included — source appropriate fixings for your wall type from a hardware store
• Cable length is approximately 3 metres — ensure a power source is accessible nearby

Design Recommendations

For best results, use busy, vibrant designs with a variety of colours across the graphic. Lighting anomalies can be more visible on plain designs or large blocks of a single colour — particularly with edge-lit systems. Detailed, colourful artwork will give the most visually impressive result when illuminated.

What is the difference between the Standard and Premium lightbox?

The main differences are LED quality, quantity and placement. The Standard model has a 75mm thick frame with LEDs around the inside edge. The Premium model has a 60mm thick frame with LEDs along the long edges specifically, providing better light distribution and a higher overall quality of illumination. The Premium model is also available in custom bespoke sizes — contact us for a quotation.

What material is the graphic printed on?

Graphics are printed using dye-sublimation on 310gsm Backlit Polyester — a specialist fabric designed specifically for backlit applications. The material allows LED light to transmit through the fabric evenly, producing vibrant, glowing colour that is significantly more impactful than a standard non-backlit display.

How is the graphic replaced?

Each lightbox graphic is fitted with a nylon pull tab as standard, affixed to an upper corner of the graphic to aid easy removal from the frame. The graphic can then be replaced by existing staff without the need for skilled installers. Replacement graphics are folded and dispatched via courier. If you would prefer the pull tab in a different position or not fitted at all, let us know when ordering.

How is the lightbox fixed to the wall?

The aluminium frame requires drilling to create your own fixing points — this approach provides maximum flexibility for different wall types and surfaces. No standard fixing points or wall-mounting kit are provided. Source the appropriate wall plugs and fixings for your wall type from a local hardware store before installation.

What are lighting anomalies and how do I avoid them?

Lighting anomalies are subtle variations in brightness that can appear in edge-lit LED displays — particularly noticeable on plain designs or large areas of a single solid colour where uneven light distribution is more visible. The most effective way to avoid this is to use busy, vibrant artwork with a variety of colours and design elements distributed across the graphic, which naturally disguises any minor variations in the LED illumination.
